Countdown to Harrogate:  Ones to watch

There’s a buzz around town as final preparations get underway for Harrogate’s biggest annual trade show, Home & Gift 2011.

The greetings and stationery category hosts plenty of great names including Artebene, Caroline Gardner, Penny Shaw, Emma Ball, Cavania, Shruti, Belly Button Designs, Tom Dickens, Inkdrops, Takkoda and Hammond Gower and Little Black Dog.

To enhance the shopping experience, the show is merchandised into product sectors including Gift, Home, Jewellery & Fashion, Greetings & Stationery.  The careful planning makes Home & Gift a pleasurable experience with retailers able to make the most their precious time at the show.

New for 2011, will be the Men's Gifts sector, created to reflect the emerging men’s gift market. In addition to traditional male gifts such as cufflinks and ties, visitors will also find a broad range of unique gadgets, health and wellbeing products.

National pride is hot on the agenda and popular as ever with many exhibitors displaying their Made in Britain credentials throughout the show.  The product GB badge will be the mark of those who support local creative industries and use suppliers exclusively in the UK to manufacture their products.

For original and unique design talent the Intro North sector is the place to go.  Each exhibitor has been selected based on their creativity, quality and commercial potential, making Intro North an essential sector for retailers looking to fill their stores with the next big thing. Exhibitors already confirmed include Alphabet, Ava P, Butterfly Barn, Ma Poppet Petit and the Soap Farm.
