£4m revamp well underway
22 Clintons stores already completed
THE £4million revamp of the first 100 Clintons stores is well underway with 22 completed in under three weeks.
Since new CEO Dominique Schurman unveiled the first in Cheapside, London, on August 3, the shopfitters have been busy rolling out the rebranding across a quarter of the 397 stores American Greetings bought in June after Clinton Cards went into administration.
The plan is to complete this phase by the end of October and by Friday (August 24) Doncaster, Stowmarket ,Gainsborough, Chatham, Glasgow Braehead, Corby, Ipswich, Glasgow St Enoch’s, Sheffield, Salford Lowry, Chester, Blackpool, Bristol Broadmead, Belfast, Bedford, Leamington, Bury, Oxford, Inverness, Cheltenham, and Stafford had joined Cheapside on the finished list.
The new boutique-style look and feel reflects a much fresher, crisper and more lifestyle-based brand with contemporary fascia and new window execution and fixtures and fittings.
Also on the to do list in the next few weeks is the revamp of the still very-orange Clintons website which now clashes with the new contemporary deep-red and white logo and colour palette.
