Reward for Irish loyalty
New scheme to increase brand awareness
HALF a century of loyal custom is being rewarded by Hallmark with a new Loyalty Card scheme for the Republic of Ireland from Monday.
Available to collect from 36 Hallmark-branded stores across Ireland the scheme will give each consumer their sixth card free when they buy five Hallmark cards.
With a population of 4.5million, research shows Irish consumers send more than 100million cards per year – almost 25 each!
Having opened their first store in Ireland 53 years ago, Hallmark are offering one of the best value Loyalty Cards in the market to reward their repeat customers and attract new customers by increasing brand awareness and driving football to the stores.
Launching on August 27, the initiative will be supported by a 10-week national and regional radio advertising campaign, social media activity and in-store POS.
“Card-giving is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to show someone you’re thinking of them,” said Hallmark PR and social media manager Tamsyn Johnson-Hughes, “we hope the Hallmark Loyalty Card will make it even easier for our consumers to keep their relationships with friends and family close.”
The Loyalty Card is the latest in a dedicated programme of consumer-led activity developed by Hallmark to reposition the brand.
Inspired by in-depth consumer research, Hallmark’s Life Is A Special Occasion proposition was officially launched at the Spring Fair trade show earlier this year.
Led by a fresh new-look design and tone, this new brand approach has also seen the card maker move into gift ranges and introduce new store designs.
