Tatty Teddy and Louie raise £87,000

M&S keyring sales boost Carte Blanche charity fund

A TINY Tatty Teddy is doing his bit to help Carte Blanche Group raise money for Leukaemia And Lymphoma Research.

Marks And Spencer has been selling the exclusive Tatty Teddy keyring at £3.50 each in its kidswear departments with 25,000 sold so far, raising £87,500 with a week of the campaign to go.
Customers have been encouraged to show their support for Putting Childhood Leukaemia To Bed by photographing Tatty Teddy in an unusual location and posting the picture on www.beatingbloodcancers.org.uk/mands
Celebrities including Louie Spence, Sir Steve Redrgrave and Susan Boyle have joined in by posing with Tatty Teddy.
Carte Blanche is also supporting Leukaemia And Lymphoma Research in a separate campaign for independent card retailers across the UK.
The Me to You promotion, entitled When You Love Someone… Tell Everyone!’ encourages shoppers to post messages for friends or loved ones in the window of their local card shop.
Carte Blanche has pledged to donate cash to LLR and help raise awareness by using the charity’s logo on promotional posters and leaflets in the 140 stores which are taking part.
Ruth Leonard, CBG Marketing Director, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research to help raise money and awareness for their important work.”
