Docking a new commission

Historic images expand Dipingo’s portfolio of bespoke clients

DIPINGO Design have won a major new commission from The Historic Dockyard at Chatham in Kent expanding their portfolio of bespoke clients.

The company will be producing a series of stationery and other products, featuring new photographic images of this prestigious site with the Chatham Collection to be sold in the new retail space, which is being redeveloped at the dockyard.
The images used in the range were all shot by Dipingo’s Creative Director Katy Donaldson, who worked closely with the team at Chatham to create a tailor-made set of products using photographs and graphic design. The images range from historic ships and grand spaces to nautical detail and intimate corners.
David Johnson, retail manager at The Historic Dockyard Chatham says: “We’re looking forward to introducing these stunning new lines to our visitors in 2015 and are confident these products will be the perfect souvenir with which to remember a visit to The Historic Dockyard Chatham.”
Initially the Chatham Collection will include greetings cards, notebooks, calendars and tea towels but other products are in the pipeline.
Lianne Streek, Dipingo Design’s Commercial Director, added: “This latest project represents an exciting addition to our Commissioned Collection. As a small independent design house we can offer a truly bespoke service to prominent destinations looking to develop their own brand of products. After five years of trading this new direction for Dipingo works well for us and our clients and we are planning to expand this side of the business in 2015.”
