International start

New area aims to attract recently-founded companies

PAPERWORLD 2015 will be distinguished by a new area when visitors can discover international start-ups and their products in the Get Started area at the show from January 31 to February 3.

On Stand B20 in Hall 5.1 recently-founded companies from all over the world have the chance to show their products at Messe Frankfurt’s international paper, office supplies and stationery trade fair at particularly favourable terms and conditions, which includes a fully-furnished and equipped exhibition stand.
From pop-up greetings cards by Rifletto to voodoo dolls and mini gifts by I Love Gifts, everything at Get Started revolves around new products and clever ideas – but applications to exhibit there must be in by December 15.
Paperworld director Michael Reichhold said: “The Get Started area is aimed especially at companies from outside Germany, which have never exhibited at a trade fair and want to make important business contacts here.
“We are delighted at the interest being shown by manufacturers and will begin with a small number of stands in the first year and expand Get Started over the coming years.”
As well as aiming specifically at international start-ups for the first time, Messe Frankfurt are also intending Get Started to be a transitional stage for companies that can no longer take part in the area sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie – BMWi) where participation is limited to two years.

Paperworld runs at the Frankfurt showgrounds in Germany alongside Creativeworld and Christmasworld, which opens a day earlier.
