Uni students produce product range book for Clintons

STUDENTS at Northampton have produced Clintons 2014 Christmas Look Book thanks to contacts at a London PR agency.

The Northampton Herald & Post reported that Houston PR account executive Inderdeep Gill contacted the Hot House student consultancy service at his former university for the project to promote the retailers’ product ranges.
Inderdeep, who worked closely with Clintons in advance of their nationwide PG campaign and rebrand, told the newspaper: “Working with Hot House and students from the University of Northampton was an absolute pleasure. We had great day-to-day contact with the team, who always kept us updated on progress of design, production and print.
“The Hot House team worked to a very tight deadline, incorporating a lot of last-minute changes without a problem. The look books produced were amazing, and I’m sure we will use Hot House for any design projects in the future.”
The Look Book was designed by Danny Alder, a third-year fashion marketing student, and overseen by Hot House assistant and marketing management student Emma Damerell (pictured together) then produced locally by Futureprint.
Danny commented: “The Clintons project was great experience for me. It was challenging because we had such short timescales and, as with every project, we had complications which involved dealing with a lot of pressure to fix. There can’t be many students who would have something like this on their CV and in their portfolio!”
Emma added: “Having recently started my placement at Hot House, this project was a real baptism of fire. We had a very broad brief and a very tight timeframe to deliver the look book.”
