£1,000 grand draw prize on offer for Shop Of The Month winners

A SHOP Of The Month competition is one of the ways Cherry Orchard have decided to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

Each month one lucky winner picked through Facebook will receive a bottle of champagne, certificate and entry into the Grand Draw for stock worth £1,000 at retail.
To enter the competition, Cherry Orchard stockists should email a photograph showing their eye-catching window displays or shop image and some info about the store to SOTM@cherryorchardpublishing.co.uk and all entries will be posted on the publishers’ Facebook and Twitter pages.
“We know how much time and effort goes into making a shop look appealing, from creative window displays to clean and tidy interiors.” said Cherry Orchard MD and founder Jackie Collins, pictured.
“In this digital age, creating compelling images online is a powerful tool to showcase products, particularly seasonal ones, to entice customers into stores
“To help our stockists promote their stores online, we’ll post all competition entries on our Facebook and Twitter pages, with a little bit of detail about the shop – little anecdotes are always popular, from celebrity customers to funny stories or fundraising ventures, small news items that people like to share.
“It’s a great opportunity for the business owner to encourage friends and customers to share the post and support them in their bid to win a fantastic prize of £1,000 (RRP, excluding mugs) worth of stock.
“Sending greetings cards, like social networking, is all about sharing sentiments with a circle of friends. Every day we see more and more likes on the Facebook page for our Tired Ted brand of cards as people share his wise words. This level of engagement builds a strong brand and drives customers into shops.
“The independent retailer sector offers consumers a unique shopping experience where products are hand-picked and well-presented and where fostering customer loyalty is key. This sense of community is what makes customers engage with the product and service, from a quick message shared on a social network to popping into the shop for a browse and a chat.
“We hope the fantastic prizes we’ve lined up will encourage people to have a go and get their business in the spotlight.”
