Field researchers capture weird and wonderful sights

WALKING the streets is the job for 50 field researchers at The Local Data Company to analyse and photograph more than 75,000 retail premises every month – and they also capture some weird and wonderful sights.

“As well as enabling us to capture comprehensive and up-to-date data on the retail and leisure market,” said LDC Director Matthew Hopkinson, “it also gives us a unique insight to the day-to-day occurrences in our towns, shopping centres and retail parks.
“And luckily each field researcher is armed with a camera to capture these goings-on. We’ve created a small album which features a selection of the funny unique and, sometimes, bizarre things that they witness day in, day out.”
