Henri helps pick sweet pair

Lord Sugar takes on two new apprentices in last night’s TV final

SCRIBBLER’S Henri Davis made a fleeting appearance among the judges on BBC’s The Apprentice final last night (Sunday, December 17) as Lord Sugar broke his own rules by taking on both “very credible” finalists.

Recruitment firm owner James White and confectionery entrepreneur Sarah Lynn both won a £250,000 investment from the multi-millionaire businessman following their pitches to the experts at London’s City Hall.
At the final pitch Henri, head of buying and merchandise at Scribbler and also independent retail advisor and a Greetings Today columnist, was in the front line of 20 business experts sitting alongside Lord Sugar and his sidekicks Barroness Karren Brady and Claude Littner - she is pictured above, far right .
It’s the second year running that Henri has been selected to be involved in the hit TV show, and she just made the cut to be seen on screen briefly.
Of his decision to double his investment for the first time in 13 series of the show, Lord Sugar said:
“I’m a gambler, and I’ve always been a gambler in business. Honestly it was so so close, I really could not decide, so I have two really wonderful new business partners. I was torn, I just couldn’t decide one way or the other so the fair thing to do was to choose them both.”
