Merry Christmas

And a happy new year to everyone from us all at Greetings Today

THIS submission from the wags at Lanther Black made the Greetings Today team giggle so we thought we’d share it to give you all a pre-festivities smile as you wrap everything up for the Christmas break.

See you all next year – and if you haven’t sent your February editorial yet, you’re a very naughty boy (or girl)!
We really need it for when we get back into the office on Tuesday, January 2, the Wednesday is the absolute deadline so you’ve got time to squeeze a bit of typing in between the turkey and tinsel.

Christmas reimagined with Lanther Black:
'Twas the night before Christmas and Rudolph the fool
Got drunk as a skunk and fell off of his stool.
His left leg was broken, his arm busted too,
'Twas the last thing they needed with so much to do.

The elves patched him up and they rushed to the sleigh,
But it soon became clear that they'd gone the wrong way.
With no time to lose and a world to be crossed,
Rudolph the nuisance had gotten them lost.

They corrected their course and they hurried along,
And poor Santa prayed nothing else would go wrong...
But the sound of a tear made him spin right around
And he helplessly stared as his gifts hit the ground.

But Rudolph was there and he'd brought a spare sack,
And working together they got back on track.
And when they were done, Santa yelled with delight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
