Time to move on for Abacus’ creative director after 25 years

ABACUS Cards’ long-time creative director Bev Cunningham has left the publishers, who also own Clare Maddicott, having taken voluntary redundancy after 25 years with them.

In an announcement on Friday, November 10, Abacus’ MD Nick Carey – pictured with Bev – said: “Following amicable discussions between Bev and the company, it has been agreed that Bev will accept voluntary redundancy and leave Abacus with effect from Thursday, November 9.
“We offer sincere and grateful thanks to Bev for her sterling contributions and commitment over many years’ service.
“Bev has been instrumental in the success of the company and all past and present colleagues will want to wish her every possible success for the future.”
Bev started with Abacus in February 1992 and has just worked on their latest BBC licence for Gardeners’ World, which has joined their Springwatch and Countryfile brands.
