Diaries bound by wounded ex-service folk on sale to support rehabilitation charity

DIARIES made by armed forces veterans have gone on sale to support the charity that helps their rehabilitation by teaching bookbinding skills and qualifications.

Bound By Veterans is run by a group of volunteers to use the restorative powers of manual bookbinding to assist rehabilitation, improve health and wellbeing, and develop employment skills for wounded ex-servicemen and women from the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Formerly the Wiltshire Barn Project, the charity is run by a group of volunteers and supported by the Stationers’ Livery Company, with specialist instructors sharing their knowledge with the veterans at the Daffodil Barn in Woodborough which houses the specialist equipment needed to produce the diaries and books.
The slimline red, blue or green 2018 diaries cost £10 each and are available from the Stationers’ Company by emailing office administrator Lucie McCord admin@stationers.org or through Bound By Veterans by emailing office@boundbyveterans.co.uk.
