PaperAwards entries now open

Trio of £1,000 prizes up for grabs in Top Drawer talent competition

APPLICATIONS for the fourth edition of Top Drawer’s PaperAwards are now open with G.F Smith again supporting the recognition for the talent and innovation within the greetings and stationery industry.

The PaperAwards have become a staple feature of the Greetings & Stationery sector at the show where more than 170 designers and publishers will showcase their new ranges at London’s Olympia from January 14-16.
All Greetings & Stationery exhibitors can enter the PaperAwards S/S18 three categories – Exciting Use of Colour, Emotive Design and Engaging Print – by the closing date of December 5, the entry form is downloadable here.
A shortlist will be determined by an expert panel of judges including Holly Tucker, co-founder of Notonthehighstreet.com and Holly & Co; US brand Urbanic, West Elm and Harrods, and the industry will then be invited to vote with the winners, who each receive a prize worth more than £1,000, announced just before the show.
Claire Leina, from All The Ways To Say, won the Emotive Design category at the A/W17 show and said: “Winning the PaperAwards has given us more visibility and presence at the show, as well as on social networks.
“Top Drawer has helped us to meet a lot of people under one roof and introduced us to many new customers. We have increased our wholesalers, and can still feel the impact of both the show and PaperAwards on our business. We look forward to returning to Top Drawer for S/S 18.”
