Cards on the table at Tendence

Paper & Friends is brand-new area for stationery and greetings at Frankfurt’s summer show


TENDENCE is putting its cards on the table with a brand-new area for calendars, greetings, stationery, gift books and notebooks at the upcoming Frankfurt exhibition.

The heart of Hall 11.0 at organisers Messe Frankfurt’s showgrounds in the German city with be the new address for stationery and printed products in the Paper & Friends area at the show, which runs from June 30-July 3 slot.
“With the clearly-focused content and careful choice of exhibitors, we will be offering stationery, gift and lifestyle shop owners a product mix that is diverse, but where everything goes together," said Tendence director Bettina Bär.
“With its date in early summer, Tendence presents an ideal ordering platform, particularly for calendars and greetings cards, as well as the whole range of Christmas stationery products.”
Stationery companies such as Ars Vivendi, Adeo Verlag, Coppenrath Verlag, Dumont Kalenderverlag, Lagom, Pabuku and Paper Moon have already expressed interest in exhibiting their products in the new stationery area.
Paper & Friends is being curated and designed by Angelika Niestrath, an expert in supplementary product ranges and displays with many years’ experience in developing and implementing innovative exhibition concepts.
Currently working with Messe Frankfurt on Paperworld and Frankfurter Buchmesse for the Frankfurt Book Fair, Angelika said: “Paper & Friends will present the different product ranges as an attractive package, like a concept store for specialist retailers – what’s more, the imaginative design of the stands will generate impulses for creative product displays in shops.”
Tendence is Germany’s most international order venue for the second half of the year. The wide-ranging product portfolio covers fields of the home, furnishing, decorating, gifts, jewellery, fashion accessories, tableware, kitchenware, home textiles and outdoor living.
Special shows and a wide-ranging complementary programme of events and seminars are multi-faceted sources of sales-boosting impulses for retailers.
