PaperFest schedule lines up raft of speakers for Top Drawer event


SPEAKERS from Facebook, Farrow & Ball, Selfridges, Vogue Living and Just A Card are set to share top tips at PaperFest, part of Top Drawer which opens on Sunday, January 14.

At the heart of the Greetings & Stationery at the three-day show, PaperFest is sponsored by G.F Smith and World First, and provides invaluable industry advice from a host of experts across the retail landscape.
The speakers will talk on everything from starting a creative business and growing your social media presence to creating engaging visual displays and selling your story to journalists and more during the event at London’s Olympia.
On Sunday Facebook #SheMeansBusiness certified trainer Natasha Courtenay-Smith will divulge essential information on making the most of social media with How To Use Facebook Ads To Grow Your Business.
Sarah Hamilton, who founded the Just A Card campaign to boost independent creative businesses, is on the Grow Your Media Presence And Find Your Tribe panel – and Top Drawer have partnered with the campaign to give away window stickers to independent shops.
Monday sees Joa Studholme, international colour consultant from Farrow & Ball, host A Masterclass In Exploring Colour, while Selfridges buying manager Geraldine James will explain on Tuesday how to Start Thinking Stories, exploring the customer experience, visual merchandising, home and stationery buying decisions and trends and influences.
Also on Tuesday Fiona McCarthy, Vogue’s living editor, blogger at Chic Shopper and author of London Precincts, will share Top 10 Tips For Selling Your Story To Journalists.
