Cardgains stick with campaign

Buying group join Sarah’s movement to promote independent shops – new stickers now available

CARDGAINS have joined the Just A Card campaign promoting independent shops and businesses by printing their new window stickers for free – and you can pick one up from founder Sarah Hamilton in person if you’re around South London this weekend.

The updated stickers provided by the Sheffield-based buying group are easier-to read and stick better, and Cardgains’ representatives will be distributing them across the country to their member stores.
Joint MD Chris Dyson said: “The Just A Card campaign gives an opportunity to promote independent retailers and Cardgains are happy to be involved in the scheme.”
Sarah added: “Over the years they have helped thousands of independent retailers, many have built long-lasting relationships with Cardgains and have flourished with their outstanding support. Now Cardgains are helping spread the Just A Card message – what an awesome bunch.
“We want to say a huge thank you to Cardgains for supporting the campaign – you are true supporters of independent businesses!”
The stickers are available by sending an SAE to the Leaping Hare Gallery, 23 Chapel Street, Easingwold, North Yorkshire, YO61 3AE, or can be collected in person from owner Michael Fram.
Or you can meet Sarah herself, and collect your own sticker, at her London home tomorrow or Sunday, May 12-13, at the artist’s open house event, part of the Dulwich Festival. Fellow Just A Card campaigner Justine Ellis lives a few doors away and is also running an open house event. For more details click here.
