Design Group sign Pikmi Pops

Greetings deal among trio of new licences for latest collectible sensations

COLLECTIBLE sensations Pikmi Pops continue to attract leading licensees, as Roy Lowe, The Design Group UK, and Dreamtex have all inked new deals with Bulldog Licensing.

Created by Moose Toys, of Shopkins fame, Pikmi Pops are sweet-scented miniature plushies that come with surprises including dangler strings, cute accessories and messages packaged inside an iconic lollipop vessel.
Having sparked a playground craze with their target market of girls aged five to nine, huge UK sales are being reported as Pikmi Pops has been the number one new brand here for each of the last six months.
The new agreements will see Roy Lowe produce a socks range, while The Design Group UK are on board for greetings cards and gift packaging, along with Dreamtex for bedding.
The deals add to an ever-growing licensing programme, which also includes Aykroyds/TDP for nightwear and swimwear, Blues for leisurewear, Spearmark for housewares, and Blueprint for stationery.
“Pikmi Pops is proving to be hugely popular,” said Bulldog Licensing Director Vicky Hill. “Kids just can’t get enough of them and it’s no surprise that we are securing deals with so many top licensees. I’m sure we’ll be announcing yet more deals very soon.”
