RetailFest all set to roll

This weekend’s Top Drawer offers insightful complementary programme

 

RETAILFEST has a great line-up of insightful panel discussions, interviews, practical masterclasses and clinics all set to roll out at this weekend’s Top Drawer S/S19.

The complementary programme runs across all three days of the show, which opens on Sunday, January 12, and will see an industry expert panel of Penny Green of Kikki.K; Sidonie Warren, founder of PaperSmiths, and Urbanic founder Audrey Woollen discussing trends in stationery and greetings for the season ahead.
Google will also be giving visitors and insight into Building Marketing Campaigns That Convert, delving into ways to simplify and reinvigorate your approach to marketing your business, with their panel of experts from the Google Digital Garage.
For a head start on next season’s colour and design trends, visitors can attend discussions with House Curious’s Sommer Pyne and Louise Healy-Adonis from Flamingo Global, and join the expert panel including Press Loft founder Nicola Snell and Heal’s buyer Emily Dunstan as they explore how to use the latest trends to drive your brand’s success.
Elena Todary of Collaborative Store; Amara founder Sam Hood and Elle Decoration UK’s Content Director Pip McCormac will discuss the ever-changing landscape of High Street retail and the growth of the online marketplace, along with the challenges and opportunities these represent for independent brands and retail today, in Top Drawer’s Thought Leader interview The Future Of Digital For Independent Retails.
And Taylor Morris founder Hugo Taylor will talk on combining creativity with entrepreneurship to achieve global success, with a product and business developed from scratch, and the role that social media has had in this.
Jo Tutchener-Sharp, founder of global PR agency Beauty Seen and children’s fashion company Scamp & Dude, will be sharing her expertise on how to establish an authentic brand identity that will pass the test of time.
There’s also a peek into the social media workings of cutting-edge greetings and stationery brand Mean Mail, while creative marketing agency Hustle & Fox will offer visitors the opportunity to learn how to simplify and reinvigorate their relationship to marketing their business.
A host of demonstrations and clinics are also on offer, providing visitors with hands-on practical guidance to improve their businesses including a discussion with the winners of the S/S2019 Spotted and PaperAwards on how to make your product stand out and how to turn your passion into a career.
