Tate join M&G portfolio

Major launch across cards and stationery using art from iconic gallery

  

MUSEUMS & Galleries have unveiled a fabulous new name for their 2019 portfolio – the cards and stationery licence for the Tate Gallery.

“Working with the Tate has been a big ambition of M&G’s for a long time,” said M&G creative director Ben Dorney, “we are hugely proud and thrilled to be launching with the Tate now in such a major way.”
The launch collection of cards comprises 40 designs across two sizes, and covers all areas of the Tate's remit, from the finest traditional British art to vibrant international contemporary art, as well as aspects of the gallery’s own publishing activities.
Tate's mission is to increase the public's enjoyment and understanding of British art from the 16th century to the present day as well as of international modern and contemporary art.
They have four main galleries – Tate Britain in Millbank, Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives and the iconic Tate Modern on London's Bankside, which has consistently been the most visited modern art gallery in the world since opening in 2000, with 5,826,927 visitors in 2017. As a cultural visitor attraction in London it ranks second only to the British Museum.
