Ideas from Laura Sherratt

The team at Laura Sherratt share their ideas to get through this time

The team at Laura Sherratt Designs have come up with some ideas to promote greeting card sending during these crazy times. There are many people who may be feeling lonely and isolated and sending cards is a way to stay in touch. Stamps are still for sale online and in food stores so there is no excuse for not sending cards.

Laura Sherratt Designs are offering to send cards in their local area of Leek. They will write and deliver the card for £5 to recipients that are local to the studio.

For those who aren’t local, an alternative option is to purchase cards online. A variety of packs are available and the team will post them to you for free.
For trade customers they are offering:
- free carriage on all orders, of any size
- 60 day terms
- help to pay existing invoices, by having a payment plan
- cards available in threes instead of packs of six
There are various deals on offer with more details on Facebook and Instagram.

Laura said, “We are doing this simply whilst our beautiful independent shops are shut, who also have wonderful online shops, it’s worth a look at who I follow to find those!”

The team have also been promoting a competition on social media from one of their independent retailers. Donna Marie Gifts in Warrington are running a card designing competition for all ages.

Laura said, “Donna has been a customer of mine from the very beginning and has a wonderful treasure trove shop, crammed with unique cards and gifts. She’s running A Design a Card Comp for all ages, kids and adults. They get the chance to win a hamper and selling the winning card design in her shop. She is also helping Warrington food bank by donating a percentage of sales of that card to them.”
