Meet PaperAwards winners

Alphablots, Made By Shannon, Stormy Knight, and Text From A Friend take prizes

FROM beautiful prints and vibrant palettes to innovative design and originality, the A/W19 edition of the PaperAwards has revealed the best in greetings and stationery as voted by the industry.

Sponsored by G.F Smith, the seventh edition of the awards at Top Drawer sees the winners of the each of the four categories receive a prize worth more than £1,000.
Stormy Knight took the Emotive Design category, with Alphablots winning Exciting Use Of Colour, Made By Shannon topped in Engaging Print, and Text From A Friend won the new Best Stationery Design category.
As well as the winners, the two runners-up in each category and remaining 16 finalists will all have their work showcased in the Greetings & Stationery area at Top Drawer A/W19, which opens this Sunday, September 8, and runs through to Tuesday, September 10, at London’s Olympia. running 8-10 September at Olympia London.
All exhibitors at the show, where organisers Clarion Events have incorporated Pulse for the first time, were eligible to put themselves forward for the awards, with the winners then picked through a public vote from the finalists.
And the entries this season impressed the prestigious list of judges – who included Henri Davis, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, The Design Museum, Waterstones, Paperchase, Heals, Oliver Bonas, Postmark and Notonthehighstreet – so much they increased the finalists from six to seven per category. Each winner will receive a prize worth more than £1,000, including £50 worth of free paper from G.F Smith on any order of £50 or over; marketing help with a two-month PressLoft free trial worth £750; HR resources worth £250, and a 25 per cent discount on print solutions with Century Studios.
