Clintons announce relocation of head office to over the shop in Loughton

CLINTONS have relocated their head office, effective today, Monday, August 5, from an industrial estate to right above their store in Loughton, Essex.

Having recently renewed a 10-year lease on the property at 204 High Road, the head office of the retailers now occupies 4,000 square feet of space on the upper floors.
The relocation from The Crystal Building in Langston Road, Loughton, forms part of the group’s wider strategy to work towards a more vertically-integrated business model, enabling their teams to easily access retail space and improving coordination between head office, retail management and support functions.
Clintons are now wholly owned by the Weiss family, founders of American Greetings, and CEO Eddie Shepherd said: “The move out of an expensive legacy site into a more compact, efficient premises is both a welcome and necessary move.
“The financial benefit achieved through this move will be invested back into the business to support our strategy of becoming a more vertically integrated, standalone business.”
During the course of last year Clintons have also established a creative centre in Corby, Northamptonshire, to support the development, manufacture and management of Clintons private label programmes across cards, wrap, gifting and stationery.
All buying suppliers should now address correspondence and samples to the relevant address – 204 High Road, Loughton, Essex, IG10 1DN, for head office, or
Sycamore House, 25 Medlicott Close, Oakley Hay, Corby, Northants, NN18 9NF, for the creative centre.
