More recognition for eco brand

Award-winning Vent For Change show being ethical can also be stylish

VENT For Change, the online and on-message environmental and ethical stationery brand, are making their mark with recognition in three awards in as many months.

Having come runners up in the PaperAwards new Stationery category and been commended in the Gift Of The Year Ethical Gift sector, Vent For Change have just been named as one of the eight LaunchPad winners for the Stationery Show London.
Founder and social and environmental entrepreneur Evan Lewis said: “We are delighted to have been recognised by the judges, this is further confirmation that purpose-led brands are making their mark in 2019 and we can’t wait to show off our range at the stationery show in London.”
Leading the way as a new breed of conscientious purpose-led brands who combine beautifully-designed products with an ethical purchasing option for their customers, proceeds from the sale of every Vent product sold go towards children’s education projects worldwide. This ethical philosophy is combined with impeccable environmental credentials.
The Bristol-based company combine their support of global education with a range of notebooks and writing instruments made from recycled and sustainable materials, much of it produced in-house here in the UK.
From their pencils produced near Stourport-on-Seven from recycled CD cases, to its pocket books made using reclaimed coffee cup fibres, every item has a strong environmental message of its own.
As one of the LaunchPad 2019 winners Vent will receive free exhibition space at the Stationery Show, which runs at London’s Business Design Centre over Tuesday and Wednesday, April 30-May 1, and promise to showcase up-coming ranges as well as their award-winning Ideas Collection.
The strong back-story that supports the brand identity caught the imagination of the judges – in addition to their stationery Vent also organise Share A Pencil Day, a nationwide global education awareness day and an Ambassador For Change programme giving away thousands of pencils worldwide.
Now available to retailers this contemporary design-led range shows that having strong ethical and eco credentials no longer means a dull or worthy finished article.
